Our highly accurate and popular LoadMaxx Plus® scale can be used as a stand-alone trailer scale or as an important part of a full tractor/trailer scale solution. When LoadMaxx Plus® is combined with LoadMaxx® tractor scales, the system offers steer, drive and trailer suspension weights, GVW and net payload data to a single in-dash display. By multiplexing through the existing 7-way connection, pairing is automatic, without any driver interaction.
Pair with LoadMaxx® for a full vehicle solution and view trailer net payload weights in the cab.
LoadMaxx® Tractor and LoadMaxx Plus® Trailer scales work seamlessly to provide a complete weighing solution for a single tractor/trailer or an entire fleet. Designed for both drop-and-hook and dedicated fleets, the in-cab display shows steer, drive, trailer, GVW/GCW and net payload automatically, with no driver interaction.
LoadMaxx® is the industry’s most popular on-board scale designed for medium and heavy duty trucks and tractors. LoadMaxx® works on straight trucks, tractors, and can be used as a straight truck solution or as part of the LoadMaxx® / LoadMaxx Plus® tractor trailer solution. Straight trucks will show steer, drive, GVW and net payload on the in-cab display. When LoadMaxx® is paired with a trailer equipped with LoadMaxx Plus® scales, trailer suspension weight is automatically added to the LoadMaxx® in-cab display with no driver intervention.
LoadMaxx® uses highly engineered sensors to measure air pressure (for air ride suspensions) or micro-flexing of axles (for mechanical suspensions). By calibrating the system with an empty weight entered at the time the vehicle is empty and loaded weight entered at the time the vehicle is loaded, the LoadMaxx® algorithm calculates and displays the current weights of the suspension group(s).
The scale must be calibrated before initial use. After calibration, simply view Steer, Drive, GVW and Net Payload (with LoadMaxx Plus®) on the in-cab display, the LoadMaxx app on a smart device, or in integration telematics software. The weight data will update in real time.
Generally, once you’ve calibrated LoadMaxx® with accurate empty and loaded weights, there’s no need for recalibration. The system will continue to provide accurate weight readings. If the suspension undergoes significant damage, wear & tear, or changes such as replacing a leveling valve or air bag, a new recalibration is recommended.
